bonehead23 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 (edited) I may have laid on too much flake on the sides...but in the sun, this thing will blind ya. Chopped, channelled, blown, about every thing you can do to a '32 3-window. What appears to be a strange mess on the sides is the flame decals from a Monogram '32 roadster. I should have lightened up the flake a bit...but it was my first attempt at using testor's glitter paint. Edited March 27, 2015 by bonehead23
Petetrucker07 Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 That sure does have some metal flake in it. Looks great. Awesome job.
Ace-Garageguy Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Huge flake looks pretty cool when it's supposed to be over-the-top like this. I like it. Lotsa fun.
DumpyDan Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Wow flaky, but man would that glitter in the sun. Good job, I like.
Relic_Models Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 If you wanted a metallic finish you could have used Alclad. It looks pretty good, the surface does look a bit rough though.
crazyrichard Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 i really like it ! looks are killer .. the flakes .. hmm for me its to big scale wise > not ment offensive > but there should be like a paint with tiny tiny flakes for this scale ..
