mk11 Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Very well done! So accurate, it brought to mind a '66 Mustang coupe I owned with thrush glass packs right off the collectors like that. The racket was cool for about three days. I finally had to extend the pipes so I could hear myself think... mike

Sixties Sam Posted April 3, 2015 Posted April 3, 2015 Nice! Looks mean! I'm not a Chevy guy, but I'd drive that in a heartbeat! Sam
freakshow12 Posted April 4, 2015 Author Posted April 4, 2015 Thanks a lot. I'm not a chevy guy either but somehow I just had to build this kit. I hate to miss out on new stuff. Lol
freakshow12 Posted May 16, 2015 Author Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) Where did you source that gorgeous rolling stock? mike Thanks again guys. The wheels came from an historic racing miniatures mark Donahue 65gt350 R Transkit I had laying around. They are a machined lip and cast white metal centres. I made the dust caps from valve cover breathers from a glidden pro stock. I was able to epoxy the kit metal mounting pins into the mounting holes on the aluminum rims so they just popped right on.
