I recently joined this forum and this is my first post.

I found a resin ’55 Mac cab, hood and grill at a show. It sat for a couple years. I realized that the Mack truck model was out of my price range so I decided to Frankenstein it. I hope you Mack enthusiasts don’t cringe. I bought a Peterbuilt model at Michaels with a 50% off coupon and used the frame, wheels and engine. I scratch built many parts to fit. I wanted itg to be a car hauler for a bubbletop car that I redesigned. I am using a clear plastic egg for the bubble on the truck. I made the front fenders from a 1941 Ford. I cut them and added pieces to extend then to fit. I also lowered the front and scratchbuilt the rear fenders.

I needed the Bulldog hood ornament and my friends Psychographic and towman1271 came thru. Thanks guys!!

Although its not a true Mack I still needed the Bulldog for the grill.

I will post the bubbletop car for the truck on a different thread.

I am hoping to get it finished for NNL East.

Thanks for looking and I hope you like it so far.
