BubbaJoe Posted April 6, 2015 Posted April 6, 2015 I was inspired by the great work i saw over at the car toon site and by the work here , so i took a leap into wonderful world of cartoon models with my first build of freddy flameout this is my 3rd build of the year and i have to say it was the most enjoyable to date. its not a very complicated model i think were are 17 pieces i used of this model. i have a few leftover parts for the box. i made my own base and sis not use the balloon. i only have a few work in regress photos to share. i wanted his arm to face the other direction so i cut off the glove and turned it 180. i did not like the teeth that came with the kit so i made my own..i wanted a kinder gentiler looking freddy as to not scare my great niece who loves to visit my toy room. i think i made 8 pairs before deciding on one i liked. notice the gold tooth... i happen to see some muppet show my great niece was watching and it had this muppet with a gold tooth..no idea whats its name is but decided freddy needed one too. i used beacon metal leaf adhesive and gold foil from a candy bar..i sliced the foam around the tooth and pushed the foil down around the foam to give it a rounded look. the eyes gave me fits .can't tell you hoe many times i paint them ,but i finally gave up and purchased cat eyes from the doll section at hobby lobby
