Modelcarjedi Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 I started this years ago and i'm finally starting to get it finished
Rotorbolt73 Posted April 9, 2015 Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) Very nice work. Reminds me of my stalled 57 Ford gasser build I started on years ago. Actually, mine looks like the top mock up pic and even has a teardrop hood. The weathered body on yours looks top notch. Love the use of various colors on it making it look like it is pieced together.. Nice looking vintage turntable by the way. Edited April 9, 2015 by Rotorbolt73
Modelcarjedi Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 (edited) Thanks guys!! This car is kinda of a tribute to 3 cars all rolled up into one. The front end is based off of a 55 I owned. My step father had a yellow and white 55 and a friend of mine has a two tone blue 56. Edited April 9, 2015 by Modelcarjedi

Modelcarjedi Posted April 9, 2015 Author Posted April 9, 2015 i have 2 vintage turntables on my work bench
W-409 Posted April 15, 2015 Posted April 15, 2015 Very cool AWB Ford! I've always liked these AWB cars and this is a cool one. You moved the rear axle forward pretty much which gives it a really wild look. Probably that's why I like it so much. Yep those turntables are excellent but I can't use mine as drying place as it's almost always in use (Currently playing Shaking Pyramids' Tennessee Rock 'n' Roll).
