I built this Camaro a few years ago using the body from the rereleased Hugger Camaro kit with the chassis scratch built fro Evergreen plastic rod and the tin work made from aluminum roof flashing. The engine is from the MPC 57 Chevy gasser kit. Front wheels are Polar Lights. Rear wheels , front and back tires are MPC. Combination fittings and braided line from Detail Master. Small fuel line fittings are crimp tubes ( used for making necklaces ) that I got at Michaels. Paint is Testors Lacquer. This was my first attempt at using this much aluminum on a model . It was a pain in some places, but it turned out o. k. I don't really know what class this car would run in. By 69 the funny cars had gone to the logghe type chassis. Maybe it would run inone of the altered or gasser classes. Any way , it's one of my favorite models and I hope everyone enjoys seeing it.

Thanks for the comments. The Malco Gasser Mustang also held records in the BB/ Altered class. The Multi Maverick ran in both the Gasser and Altered classes. The Altered classes weren't just Fiats , T Buckets and Bantams as some may think.
