Hello all, I just recently purchased a sheet of scale motor sports carbon fiber decals. My question is what is the best way to make templates for the decals. This is my first attempt at using these decals, They are going on a tamiya 1/12 scale motorcycle model. Any help would be great. Thank you!!

Use Tamiya masking tape layed over the area. Use pencil to mark the edges. Then lay the tape on file index cards or thick copier paper and cutout the pattern and lay it on the decal and cut. I did the interior below like that, it's about 30 pieces of decal.

you can also[w/Tamiya tape] just use the template directly on the decal sheet!! it won't 'pull' any of the clear carrier from the sheet...

and, on 'curves', I've found using a hairdryer on low and setting solution is all that's needed...

just my 2 pennies...
