Bowtienutz Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 I was wondering have you picked up the monogram AAR cuda  It's the screwed up body isn't it I'd like to build a 70 cuda but I was wondering if the front clip from the Monogram could be fitted to the 71. The 71 has nice body but fender vents and 71 grille and tail panel. Opinions ideas
george 53 Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 Bow ,yeah, I would think all you'd have to do is change the grille & tailight panel and fill the fender vents I mean the same basic body and all, thats all Plymouth did.George53.

That's not always the case. When the last AAR was released by Revell in '95 or so, I had planned the 'easy' swap of those bits onto one of the '71s.....the two kits couldn't have been more different, and the parts didn't swap over. mikelo Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 If you do a search, I am sure you will find several ways to do it. I immediatly think of someone who cut the roof & top of the front fenders off and put them on the 71. Turned out looking pretty good from what I remember.

That was Darin Bastedo, and here's the thread he started: Barracuda fillets, anyone?
