This came rolling in on a flatbed. We saw there was a fire in the car. Push it in the shop and take a look. We didn't expect to see what we did…...

Obviously I noticed the stereo in the glove box. But I didn't catch the vintage LoKar street rod shifter under the coating of extinguisher powder…..

Norstar V-8 swap. With some very poorly done wiring. Waiting on Hagerty to write it up…...

Poor baby. Hope she gets a fat enough estimate to put right what is surely a PITA-amount of damage.

Any idea of exactly where the fire started?

And does Hagerty have their own claims writers up there, or contract hired guns?

My shop does collision estimates too we did the write up, no inspector came to write it. From what I hear, Hagerty is an absolute pleasure to work with.
