Kit Basher Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I need to put a decal on a surface covered with BMF. Do I need to do anything extra to make sure it sticks? TIA
High octane Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 No, it should work as decals like to adhere to smooth surfaces.
cobraman Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I did it once and it stuck but the decal outline showed pretty bad. I hope you have better luck.
Kit Basher Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Thanks, guys. I will trim it close and try a little Future. FYI, the decal is the "Challenger R/T" badge that goes in the grille on the Revell 1970 Challenger. Unfortunately, that area is not a molded in script, but a flat topped surface that has the script outline. So the decal is necessary, but I wanted a more chrome look behind it.
RANDY L Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 hi I have done it before 1 trim decals as close as possible 2 be carefull what decal solvent you use, some will discolor the bmf. Randy Ludi
