guitarsam326 Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Ok, unless im losin it, i remember there being a 4300 dump truck posted on here. It was red woth a white stripe maybe? Anyway, i remember there being a great "tutorial" on the dash of this truck, can someone help me find this post? Thought i followed it but i didnt!
Mach1revo Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 This one? http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79987&view=&hl=&fromsearch=1
guitarsam326 Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 YES! I dont know why i couldnt find it! I really like the way your truck came out and i remember seeing a dash photo bit i couldnt remember how you did the big center guages. Thanks for posting!
Mach1revo Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 The bigger ones toward the bottom are just drybrushed using testors chrome silver enamel.
guitarsam326 Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 The part i couldn't remember was if there were guage decals on them, im building the paystar 5000 which has the same cab/interior as the 4300. I really like yours though, everything ce out great on it!
Mach1revo Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 (edited) No gauge decals. I also did the Paystar before this project. Made mine as a logger. Edited June 13, 2015 by Mach1revo
guitarsam326 Posted June 13, 2015 Author Posted June 13, 2015 Nice Paystar! Im thinking of breaking up the color on my hood. Maybe the top of the hood black, or maybe the whole hood?
7000in5th Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Excellent job, Jason! And thanks for correcting the air intake trim piece on the side of the hood so that the divider bars are vertical!
