So, I started my next project, a 1940 Ford Pickup. Everything was going pretty smooth before I decided to test fit the radiator. On one side it fits perfect. On the other side the generator is in the way. Unfortunately I already permanently mounted the motor in as well as the fan assembly (with loctite superglue, super strong very fast drying). Is there anyway around this? Or do I have to try and take the fan assembly off and re locate the generator. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated!

Also happy fathers day to all the modeling fathers out there!

Since I have yet to build that specific kit I can't easily give you a direct solution, but I can recommend a few things. Whenever I have issues with something not fitting during assembly I make sure to find the point of impact and then figure out at what point in time it prevents something from fitting, then if I've determined that "wiggling" the part around does nothing I'll start seeing looking for an area I can start shaving plastic off that will not be too noticeable. Worst case scenario you have to remove the engine (It's not fun but I've had to rip parts off in the past for fitment issues as well.) and re-glue it when you have the body mounted. Hope that some of this helps out!

Your generator is not level. Remove the generator and attach it after you connect the pipes/hoses. Make sure your radiator is straight and level..

Super Glue (AKA CA Glue) joints break fairly easily, you can remove this assembly, straight out the generator. It should fit then, as Ford built several million flathead V8's with the generator mounted up there, in between the upper radiator hoses.

Thank you guys, I'll try straightening it out first, if that doesn't solve the issue ( I hope it does ) then out comes the motor. No fun, but I guess there's really no other choice!
