Color for Chaparral 2A

As a slump buster working on a 1/43rd Chaparral 2A . There is a dark color low in the body line. Is it brown,dark maroon,or? and is the entire bottom this color?

It's bare fiberglas that's glossy brown. The entire chassis tub should be that color.

I'm going to go with Maroon for my 2A's and D's. This image is from "Chaparral The Texas Roadrunner" book. The car has several changes from "Stock" starting with Goodyear Tires instead of Firestone's.

Great! I have some honduras maroon over gray primer that should suffice. It's 1/43rd and a simple kit at that.
