Mr Stock Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Hey all Just finished this one up today. I first built this kit back in late 2005, back then I painted it Tamiya Coral Blue and I thought I did a pretty good job, I had it on display for a few years and bits started falling off like they do with over handling, and it got put into a box of other old builds in the Loft. Fast forward a few years to present and I was up digging around in the loft and there was the pickup some dried cement chunks from the iside of the roof tiles had fallen on the model and trashed it breaking the front fender/clip section in two and also breaking the chassis in two. So here are the results of a careful restoration, this time I went for Chevy Roman red as a colour and added the kit supplied whitewall inserts, I still need to finish a couple of things which are missing namely the mirrors and the door handles, hopefully I can get these at some point and call her done. Let me know what you think. Heres what it looked like originally And here she is now.....
