Markieh Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Heey!My question is, since i want my model to be brown / sandish but i don't have an undercoat in that color, can i use my normal model paint and drybrush it on the tank to give it an "undercoat"?
Snake45 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I'd like to try to help, but I've read your post three or four times and still have no idea what you're trying to do.
karbuildr Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I'm with Snake. I'm thoroughly confused as to what you're asking. On the other hand, it isn't difficult at all to confuse me.
Tom Geiger Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I believe he's looking to create an undercoat that looks like the brownish stuff Mopar used in the 1960s
Snake45 Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 I believe he's looking to create an undercoat that looks like the brownish stuff Mopar used in the 1960sIf that's the case, I'd get a flat paint of the right color and brush it on thick and heavy, not drybrush it.
Speedfreak Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 He could be referring to 'tanks' as in military stuff. And he wants to know about base coats for the overall color of said tank.
