3100 chevy Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) Usually I don't build trucks but I'm in for a change of pace with this build. I want to built a 1934 bb (think it's what it's called) which cab is closer? The green one is 1:24 and is a spec cast die cast truck and the red one is 1:25 and is a amt pickup i didn't think the bb was different from the pickup but is it? the red 1/1 is making me think that the amt cab is closer... And final question is the bb grill the same as a pickup? Edited July 26, 2015 by 3100 chevy
Chuck Most Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Either cab would be correct for a BB- Ford trucks of this era all had the same cab. If it were me, I'd go with the AMT cab. The '33/4 Ford truck grilles were all the same, regardless of tonnage.
1930fordpickup Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 The AMT Cab is a 34 you can tell by the body line on the back of the Cab. . Cab size does not change on these trucks 1/2 ton or larger same cab. Model A same way.
3100 chevy Posted July 26, 2015 Author Posted July 26, 2015 (edited) Then the spec cast truck must be totally out of scale it's taller skinnier and longer Edited July 26, 2015 by 3100 chevy
chunkypeanutbutter Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 They're different scales, as well. Still, it shouldn't be skinnier... taller and longer, yes.
