Ignore feature

Is there a trick to using this? I've tried to ignore a few members, but it does'nt seem to take.

it works fine for me. All you will see is before you enter a thread, they may appear as the last person that replied, but when you view the thread, it won't show anything they posted. Also, if someone quotes one of their posts, you will be able to see what they said in the quoted post. Other than that, nothing they contribute directly should be able to be viewed.

Works the same for me.  You still see the threads, just not the ignored user's posts.

I ignore one person on another site, but have no experience with it here, though I do have all signatures turned off, as there were some here that made me crazy.

Great feature. If you have somebody on ignore there is a note saying you have chosen to ignore them. You will get an option to view it anyway or stop ignoring if you change your mind. Keeps you from reading posts from s8me of the onboard trolls. Lets face it nothing you respond to them is going to change them and the game of last word is a waste of time. Alsokeeps down the flame wars down.

Yeah, I got it working now. There will be peace in the East Valley.
