ProStreetOnTheStrip Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 i have made a 67 corvette with a tapered headrest, sort of like the one on a testa rosa, and i think i want a few copies plus have it avalible for other people, first it has tamiya white filler (all smooth) can i cast it like this or do i have to primer it, and how much would it cost? any help would be appreciated. Thanks
aurfalien Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 I've asked this question here before and your best bet is to DIY. I don't think any one has the time. But I think you'll be better off in the long run, sorta like teach a man to fish kinda thing. Here is a very good video on doing it and I'd estimate material involved would cost ~$100.

If you mean just the headrest, some of the original AMT annual roadster kits (I think maybe '64 and/or '65, but I know not '66 or '67) had at least one headrest like that, but I don't remember if they had two. It's possible Modelhaus (or somebody else) has repoed that item.
ProStreetOnTheStrip Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 i have done several other, kinda minute body mods so , the whole body
