Old Buckaroo Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Terry - I am going to send you an auto detail kit and a couple cans of krylon so you can clean those trucks up. Those trucks are rough ! But boy do they look like they have some stories to tell. It is fantastic that there was another entry, the judges must of not seen it due to the lights reflecting off of it

It is fantastic that there was another entry, the judges must of not seen it due to the lights reflecting off of it There ended up being a third builder in the commercial category. I was a little nervous. The Mack didn't even place, which was surprising. Third place was a GMC fire/rescue pickup. The guy who built the Mack has never built a truck before. He won it in a raffle, and just decided to build it.
Superpeterbilt Posted September 27, 2015 Author Posted September 27, 2015 Congrats on your Trophy's. Well deserved . Be Well GatorThanks Gator, Clayton and Brian. All in all, it was a great day! The fact that a truck with my late Grandfathers name on it took 1st was the icing on the cake.

kilrathy10 Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 That's great, Man....Congratulations on your success.....We used to have the same problem with truck entries over the years......This year's contest was the best truck turn out I had ever seen.....Go truck modeling !!!!
disabled modeler Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Congrats Terry....there are some very nice builds and well deserved wins. A lot of people including judges have no clue want it takes to build like that...its a art form in itself.
