Test for photos

What happened to the font to load  pictures? I can only load pictures direct from my device and not from photobucket using a URL.  I will try now from URL.  http://i1181.photobucket.com 

Now from where it says "insert other media",...insert image from URL.....nothing......it will not finish.

Now a picture direct from my device.  That seemed to work but, photobucket will not work. If I am not mistaking this will only work for a limited number of times, that is why I started using photobucket years ago.

i can no longer post my builds on here because of this hiccup. 

Anyone know what happens to the fonts at the top of this page ?  Any help please!

Sounds like the way you were posting was a hiccup. I have always used Photobucket and just copy/paste the img link they give you. Use ctrl C to copy and ctrl V to paste it in your post. Old school.

Where have you been Ron?

This has been an issue ever since the update to the forum a couple of months ago.

They still have not gotten it fixed.

Your best bet is to "copy & paste" from your Photobucket account.

That's what a lot of us have been doing, & outside of a few "viewing issues" on some devices, it works just as well as the old way & it won't count towards your photo posting space on the forum.

I have been here the whole time. I look at the new posts every day, I just can not post my own pictures from photobucket any more. I was worried about the limited space on the forum for posting from my devise without a host. Harry is trying to help me now, thanks.

Ron... go to your PB album. Not just the PB home page, but your PB album. When you are on the web page of your PB album, copy that URL from the window at the top of your web browser page and paste that here into a post.

Exactly! Copy the URL info of the photo you want to post, and paste that info here. That's all there is to it. No clicking on icons, or anything.

Thanks Harry, I think the problem I was having is solved. It must be the devise I was using.

Used to be able to click on the "Direct" space on Photobucket & then actually "use" the "Insert Image from URL" function in the "insert other media" drop down.

Unless something has changed recently, the "Insert Image from URL" function on this forum is useless.

Not exactly sure why it's even there.

Thanks Steve.  Yes the drop down feature did not work for me.  Also I was trying to do everything from my iPad, I went back to my old PC and everything worked again on photobucket.

Worked for me Ron.

I just clicked on your little photo to take me to the photo in your bucket.

Then just right click on the photo & click "copy image".

Then just come back to your post on the forum, position your cursor over the post & right click.

A menu will pop up.

Just click on "paste" & viola! an exact copy.

Nice Lincoln buy the way!
