wayne swayze Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Hey guys. Made the rear radius bars, but they're not properly installed yet. I placed the cowl steering arm in place, and just to see how things fit, I mocked up the hood top and grille shell/ radiator. Still have a list of things to be done, but it's moving along!
wayne swayze Posted December 15, 2015 Author Posted December 15, 2015 Hello. Permanently installed the rear radius bars today. I'm using round aluminum which I polish out, and Grandt Line bolt heads for the attachment points. Actually, I have used them throughout the whole build. I'm very happy with the stance. I'm keeping at it slowly and trying not to mess up! haha
wayne swayze Posted January 11, 2016 Author Posted January 11, 2016 Hey guys. I was dreading building and installing the rear shocks, but I got them in today. After that, I installed the drivetrain. I'm getting close!
wayne swayze Posted February 1, 2016 Author Posted February 1, 2016 Hi again. I have installed the tie rod, front brakes and the exhaust, all of which turned out much to my satisfaction ! Thanks for looking !
wayne swayze Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Grrrrrr !!! Not my day at the bench ! Trying to install straps on my fuel tank.....what a mess I made ! Just put everything down and walked away. Going to have to go with another plan I guess. Grrrrr....
cobraman Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 You will figure out the straps. Car is looking good. Going to be very cool when done.
wayne swayze Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Thanks for the support guys! Truly appreciated! I went back to the bench and tidied up my mess, and I think I may have figured out a solution for the straps. Upsets me to be in the mood to model, but not in the zone to do it right! I've heard that patience is a virtue. ?...mmmm.
wayne swayze Posted March 3, 2016 Author Posted March 3, 2016 It's getting close.........The straps for the gas tank have been put in place. Test fitted a headlight, and started fuel lines and voltage regulator is installed. I still have unproductive days but getting close to "under glass"!
