Over the years I've seen a lot of people show some incredible paint jobs using Tamiya's TS-series spray paints and I was wondering if someone had outside pictures of separate models painted with TS-8 (Italian Red) and TS-49 (Bright Red).  I'm asking about outside pictures because I think that gives me the best way to compare the two shades, as indoor pics seem to have an effect on how the paint actually looks.

TIA for all helpful replies B)

TS-86 Pure Red on the Pinto and TS-8 Italian Red on the Chevelle. I really love working with Tamiya spray paints. My favorite choice for painting a body.

I appreciate your help in showing me what Tamiya's Italian Red looks like.  I guess I was expecting it to look more red-orange a la Testors Italian Red and Humbrol Ferrari Red.

BTW, welcome to our board!  After checking out the two builds above as well as your current Mopar project, I'd have to agree that Tamiya paints work very well for you.

The lids on their cans give an accurate vision of what the paints look like. Primers or undercoats will affect the color. Reds, whites, yellows and orange should have a white base.
