Harry P. Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 One of the three lead singers (and a founding member) of Three Dog Night passed away "unexpectedly" yesterday at 74. Well, yeah, dead at 74 seems a little unexpected, especially if he had no known physical problems. Oh well... such is life...
Monty Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 (edited) That's sad. For years I had been naively hoping there would be a reunion of all remaining original members, especially Chuck Negron, but that's not gonna happen. Edited October 22, 2015 by Monty
Roadrunner Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Bummer. I really liked their music though.
espo Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Always enjoyed their music, I still have some 8 tracks around here from them.
snacktruck67 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Sorry to hear that. In 1972 in ElPaso, TX, myself and a friend actually had supper with them at a Ramada Inn. That is something I will never forget.
forthlin Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 I've always been a fan. I saw them live in 1970 & 72. Never got to eat with them but I did get all their autographs at the 1970 show.

I guess I was awe struck.
Harry P. Posted October 23, 2015 Author Posted October 23, 2015 At least you have the memory of the dinner... I always liked them, too. They did a lot of cool songs.
snacktruck67 Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Harry you are so right. They were very cool at the time. Really enjoyed it. Of course no one back at the barracks believed us about the dinner.
