I am pretty sure we already had this exact car before.

I know, it was kind of a joke but people guessed right!

Audi 100 with 5-cyl turbo/Quattro drive train = BEAST! I think it's that one done up General Lee style.

Now here's a tough one... hint, sold in Australia (possibly local-only body style) but English design/owned.

 good eye and yes, those crazy Swedes! :) one of the, no I mean THE best sounding engines!

is it a Holden or Australian Ford in conjunction with AC.......Triumph? :P

Not a Holden, Ford or Chrysler. The company was an amalgamation of two other companies (hint, two part name) and made it through the Depression with the production of modestly priced small cars. They stopped making cars in 1960. The utility shown in my pictures was actually from the 1950's and were popular due to their 6-cyl engines and the long waiting list for cars such as Chevrolet's.

For what it's worth they weren't an Australian only-model from what I've found out.

Armstrong Siddely! :D

 Nice one! Armstrong Siddeley Station Coupe to be precise (surely 'ute' or pick-up would have sufficed). I don't know how you managed that but good work. Your turn I suppose

Well, you gave some good clues! Being australian the "Ute" part was easy, then I looked around for 50-ish British cars and wound up with Armstrong Siddely. So, I guess I have to have a Fotki acct. to post pictures?

Thetford Norcold the sponsor, then I found a bunch of info on Dyson. It was a bit hard to figure out it was an MG Lola, but I saw a pic at FunSlot.net and researched further to confirm it. Not all that hard if youve got waaaaaaaay too much time on your hands like me! Perhaps i should get off the darn computer and build something! B)

It's a Lola B01/60 (MG EX 257). Ran an ARE Turbo Inline 4 2.0L with a 43 mm Restrictor.

wow, you are EXACTLY right :)
