Pierre_tec Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Hi i just paint a model with Tamiya Light Sand and my wife just brougth me a can of Krylon Short Cut Flat Black. I just the spoon test and the paints seems just like the regular Krylon can, just that sprays with less pressure. Im looking at the Krylon page but dont tell if is enamel or laquer.Anyone have use Tamiya and Short Cut Krylon on top???
aurfalien Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 (edited) Hi, It's a fast dry enamal, pretty sure that is I don't think Krylon has any lacquer based paints. PS I think ppl will advise to test on some scrap. I would. Edited October 25, 2015 by aurfalien
Snake45 Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 It's very similar to Testor spray enamels. But it's always a good idea to spoon-test ANY new paint.
High octane Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 While I don't "spoon test" my paints, I have used Krylon Short Cuts Black under Spaz-Stix Mirror Chrome and it worked great.

Could we see some?

High octane Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Let's try this 935k3 as I was just able to post a "test shot" a few minutes ago..................................
