Hi i just paint a model with Tamiya Light Sand and my wife just brougth me a can of Krylon Short Cut Flat Black. I just the spoon test and the paints seems just like the regular Krylon can, just that sprays with less pressure. Im looking at the Krylon page but dont tell if is enamel or laquer.

Anyone have use Tamiya and Short Cut Krylon on top???

Hi,

It's a fast dry enamal, pretty sure that is :)

I don't think Krylon has any lacquer based paints.

PS I think ppl will advise to test on some scrap.  I would.

While I don't "spoon test" my paints, I have used Krylon Short Cuts Black under Spaz-Stix Mirror Chrome and it worked great.

Nick,

I see you have great number of posts with some good tips and suggestions but I cannot find any posts with finished models by you. Could we see some?
