I don't remember seeing NHRA decals on any of the main cars, although some of the strip cars that have come to play on the streets may have them.

And another thing is that some of these guys also have a valid NHRA Competition License. NHRA does not want this to come back to them in any way. 

Regardless, it is all scripted reality drama for T.V. and unfortunately, they can still crash and have done plenty of times

I didn't know Daddy Dave wadded up his new Nova till just alittle while ago. That was one hairy looking crash.
