carro Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 Hi all, I've built one of these a while back and my brother in law gave me a new one, so its time to build another one.I'm planning on a pearl white for the body and gray and black interior box stock.
carro Posted November 29, 2015 Author Posted November 29, 2015 Started on the interior. sprayed down the two main colors, now just to let it dry and do the details.
GTJUNIOR Posted November 29, 2015 Posted November 29, 2015 Nice use of contrast on the doors and seats. You've just helped me overcome a dilemma I had with the interior of my Skyline R34. If your interior looks this good, I can't wait to see the completed model.

carro Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Well hopefully I got the body straight enough . The first pic is what I started with and the second pic is with the base color already applied. I also started on the chassis and hopefully this weekend I'll get some more work done on the interior. Thanks for looking.
carro Posted December 13, 2015 Author Posted December 13, 2015 Well, I had a very productive week and weekend on this one but also a drawback. the engine is 99% percent complete and all the chassis parts are painted. The interior is all done. Here is where the problem happened, for some reason is not visible on the pics but after I started the polishing process I left a wet towel on the car for a couple of days and the clear blistered up. I'm guessing it was that the humidity made its way into the clear so I sanded it down a bit more and ill try to save it by applying more clear and then start the polishing process again (minus the wet towel) hopefully that will take care of the issue if not in the purple pond it will go.
carro Posted December 18, 2015 Author Posted December 18, 2015 Hi all! I spent some time clearing polishing and clearing again and i was able to save this one from the paint stripping pond. Next to complete the chassis and start on the body window trim and little details. here are a few pics, for some reason the true color doesn't show on the pics. It has a real nice purple sheen to it. Thanks for looking!
carro Posted December 20, 2015 Author Posted December 20, 2015 Awesome paint. Great work ..thank you!
carro Posted December 21, 2015 Author Posted December 21, 2015 Another small update, just some small details.
