cowboy rich Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I left a Snap'on ratchet & socket , wrench and prybar in one just like that. As they say No Good Deed goes Unpunished I think I'd of chased down if I remembered soon enough your talking some buck!!
tbill Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I believe they were, like ford and philcowell, that explains my spelling then, been a GM wrench for almost 30 years now, lol.
Greg Myers Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 so is that what keeps the food cold ?
cowboy rich Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 Yes that's what keeps food cold, can also keep ice cream frozen and help fruit or veggies ripen depending on temp. setting. The box contains a Diesel engine that runs the things needed to make it happen. Inside that trailer In the center of the roof is a duct that looks kind of like a big sock to keep air circulating thru the trailer. If you look at the pic behind the landing gear there is a tank under the left side that is the refers fuel
Greg Myers Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 So the truck / tractor doesn't need to be running ?
cowboy rich Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 No the trailer is a stand alone unit as long as it fuel and a good battery. They start and stop on a thermostat just like your home heat or a/c. A lot of people(I've done it myself) will unhook them and pull away or turn the tractor around to get away from it when trying to sleep. They can be loud 5 feet from your ears.
Greg Myers Posted December 4, 2015 Author Posted December 4, 2015 Thank you for clearing that up for me.
chitownbri Posted December 4, 2015 Posted December 4, 2015 I left a Snap'on ratchet & socket , wrench and prybar in one just like that. As they say No Good Deed goes Unpunished Cool to see that I'm not the only reefer mechanic on this board! I know I've left several tools inside them too. The one that pisses me off the most is the matco led inspection light I left in some guys tractor after working on his tripac.
