Does anyone produce a 2 speed axle for a 50 ford? Something for an old dump truck or tow truck, or know where I could get one?

I want to say the Monogram '50 Ford pickup kit contains one, but I'm not 100% confident on that. The Revell-Monogram '40 Ford Pro Modeler convertible contains this, however:

Not sure if anyone in the aftermarket offers one, but possibly Calnaga Castings or Kitchen Table Resins?

What I'm looking for is something along the lines of what an old ford F4 or F5 came with. Probably not factory stock for the truck, but maybe something more heavier duty. I wish I knew what axle it really was, but I don't know much about big trucks. To me it looks like a giant 9 inch ford. But bigger.

Correct axle would be an. Eaton. As far as a source for one in scale, I have no idea, but here is a link with some pictures of the real deal in a '48 F-6 (seventh post). There's more specific info in the thread as well. Doesn't appear like it would be terribly difficult to modify an existing axle to resemble one.

Thanks for that link, and glad to see the images are still viewable. For future reference, here they are uploaded directly:

I've been looking for this info and something close in kit form, but so far nothing easily sourced for the latter. The Italeri Opel Blitz and AMT Ford C-600 rear axles are too large and a bit funky looking, and heavy truck (AMT GMC Astro 95, MPC Mack, etc.) too large overall. The Revell '37 Chevy Pickup's rear axle looks like it could work for a lighter duty F-series, but might be a little bit undersized-- really not much heavier than the stock 1/25 Monogram '50 Ford F-1 rear axle.

Which leads me to the 1/25 IMC Dodge L-700's rear axle:

Kind of hard to tell, but it looks like it might be the Eaton axle? The general shape is there, the round, bolt-on inspection cover is very close, but a bit of tweaking would be necessary to lose some of those blocky looking details.

For comparison, the AMT Ford C-600 (narrowed a bit, IIRC), IMC Dodge L-700, nd Revell '37 Chevy Pickup rear axles, in that order, from top to bottom:
