Unfortunate experience

I had an unfortunate experience on eBay today. There is one seller whose stuff I like very much and have been following for a while. However the shipping prices in his listings are exorbitant compared to others for similar items. So I had a few item in the cart and was attempting to discuss some form of combined shipping  with him. we were getting somewhere but Ebay wouldn't let me send the message "request a total".It thought I was trying to work my way around them. It ended up blocking his stuff off and then it blocked me too. I don't know if it was him blocking me or eBay. Anyway, if you are on here, whatever happened wasn't intentional and I am very sorry.

Ebay used to be a great place to buy stuff,i have bought and sold lots of different items on there,not anymore as they have changed it all around so it only seems to benefit them,not the sellers or buyers.the shipping is the worst i have ever dealt with,mostly not any fault of the sellers,but they want their commision on the shipping now too,They have lost a lot of customers over that too,And since i live in Canada that makes it even harder to even get someone to sell to me?,Im sure other canadians have similar stories to tell,you would think that we are in mars when it comes to shipping stuff to us here.

I have bought about 200 items off ebay in the past 10 years and i'd say 99% of those were positive with no problems,  I do take issue with sellers asking crazy prices for shipping and taking their sweet time in getting to the PO to actually ship it to me.  

Since ebay and Paypal are two separate companies now I have had problems with the last two transactions,  and the whole process was messed up saying I hadn't paid when I did etc. 

I won't use ebay anymore unless it's totally my last option,  I go the Amazon Prime route now, two days free shipping to my front door guaranteed.
