Ramfins59 Posted December 8, 2015 Posted December 8, 2015 Hi guys. I'm wondering if anyone has, or could, fit the interior from the Sedan kit into the new Convertible kit?? My reason for asking is; I'd like to order the resin rolled & pleated interior from Ed Fluck, to use it in the Revell '57 Chevy Convertible kit. I know there are differences for the convertible interior (rear doglegs, etc.) but I need to know if it will basically fit size-wise (maybe with some slight tweaking?). I don't have a Sedan kit to be able to check it out myself. Thanks for any help on this.

So, if Revell did their homework correctly, basically the conversion you are asking about should be at least theoretically possible.Art
Mike Chernecki Posted December 9, 2015 Posted December 9, 2015 Hope this helps. The door panels need a bit of trimming around the convertible side panels and the rear seat needs a bit of narrowing. The door lines and body dip match up.
Ramfins59 Posted December 9, 2015 Author Posted December 9, 2015 Thanks very much Mike, that helps me a lot. I'll pull the trigger on getting the interior.
