Just what I DO NOT need, another two to three year build but had this one in my mind for a year or so now and have been collecting bits and pieces for it, everything in the photo will try to incorporate into the build, a tiki inspired build.... may take some time for updates because I have two other builds going on the egyptian raider and strippers delight, but thought that I would finally make a start with it...

    Darren,

I really like the theme ! And judging by what I have seen of your work. This build should prove interesting.

had some time to work on ideas on this one last night, removed the seat from the interior tub, this one I have decided will not have opening doors, to much is depended on the interior tub holding the dashboard and lining up the firewall that I have decided to just keep it factory, I took out the factory seat thou because I like the look of these seats from the Munster mobile. Playing around with some items on the sides of the bed and thinking of bones for making some Nerf bar bumpers....

I'm paying attention to this build

I hope to keep updates coming on a regular basis, had this one in mind for years and want to get it finally off the ground and hope it comes out as close as possible to what I have in mind.

    Darren,

I like a lot of your bits and pieces for this project .

On the bone for the side rail I would split it to reduce the thickness and then the height. Just a thought???

I have noticed, you do like your skulls!!!

Gator, I may try that with the bones, I am thinking even after that work is preformed that they will look as if they are way out of scale but will give that a try for sure.....

Gator, I'm thinking the bones are just way to far out of scale, I do like your ideas and may try that just to see what it would look like. I have a ton of skulls love to get a few in each build. Thank you for the ideas.

You could use a skull for a gear shift Darren...

I have kinda of a tiki skull but its fairly large, wanted to do one in a tiki form I have seem them done, now that i primed the foam it looks like stone, back to the old drawing board. Dr.Cranky did an awesome one for a build he has in his ratz rodz and rust book i bought on page 24 will try again.,

Just a little update, had some time to do some more work on this, been dealing with a huge slump in building, hope that is over. Changed my idea on the bucket seats, they just were not doing it for me, going with this idea, kinda of hard to show it now till they are ready but they will have 3 pads on top and bottom and those wood looking things as a head rest. Also picked a layout for the cutout in the roof, and on the firewall adding some metal do dad to it for ornamentation.
