junkyardjeff Posted December 21, 2015 Share Posted December 21, 2015 This is the MPC spirit of 57 gasser I built back in 78,something bad must have happened to the chassis during a repaint back in the early 80s so all I found years later was the body and the motor and that rear suspension and tires were on another project. Before I got a computer I was going to stick the body on a regular chassis but once I found ebay I was able to come up with a complete new chassis so it went back togather as a gasser. junkyardjeff Posted December 25, 2015 Author Share Posted December 25, 2015 I have a later version that was molded in black that I need to finish,I got it for parts for the one I built but after finding a new chassis I decided to save the other one. I started to assemble it with a 427 SOHC Ford motor but I need it for a gasser mustang project so I think it will get a blown hemi or the dual quad 401 nailhead.
