Yes, it looks almost ready for paint but there is still some sanding to do. I got ghost lines from the rockerpanel trim and I also have some more putty and sandingwork to do on the back wall where I have added some sheet-styrene to cover the outer sides of the backwall. Lots of work is needed on this kit to make things straight and true. I think my next model should be a Tamiya kit:lol:
Maybe these wheels was modeled on some 1:1 items, maybe someone knows what they are called and who made them?

I finally have a little update on this. I have painted the cab and hood and here you can see it mocked up on the frame with the grille and front bumper.
I will use the flame decals from Revells 64 Ford Fairlane Thunderbolt and that is why it is white on the front.

Last night I mounted the rails for the bed and mounted the bed on them.

And during last weeks model club meet I managed to make these:

These will be used to replicate the chains and lock for the tailgate.

Great looking pickup,nice work.love your ideas on a frame lift,suspension lift and cab lift . performance improvements,headers,2.5 exhaust duel with equalizer tube,turbo mufflers,hei type ing.if using a carb,1 inch riser

plate,aluminum intake,carter or afb carb,nice set of chrome valve covers,k&n air filter,holley electronic fuel pump w/filter...I can go on but for just engine performance that would be seen..there are others.......Chris
