team116 Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Just saying hello. I've been into models since I was a child (only 28 now) but I haven't built one in a while. My wife got me the 53 Ford Pickup by AMT for Christmas so I came here for help and advice. I have plenty of experience in 1:1 automotive paint and body so needless to say I love cars. I want my future models to look as realistic as possible. I'm not nearly as good as anyone here but I want to get better. Thanks for the wisdom you guys share. :)
disabled modeler Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Cody...Welcome.... I am a life long builder too...the 53 Ford pickup kit is a good one. Best advise anyone ever gave me on building/restoring models and promos is too treat every part as if it were a model itself...its helped me a lot in the past. Second thing is building is no race build at your own pace.
