Do any casters offer them? Links would be great if ya have 'em.Bonus question: I've heard this kit might be repopped fairly soon, but some have said MPC changed the wheels to another design since its initial release. Can anyone tell me what wheels will be in the kit when it comes back out?

krassandbernie Posted December 29, 2015 Posted December 29, 2015 (edited) I cast these rear 15" Americans; which I thought looked the same as the ones you are after; but they might not be exact.....hard to tell from the tiny photo you posted. These are the rears in the AMT '63 Corvette kit; and have the 'bead' around the edge of the rim. They do not come plated; and I removed the axle post in order to make an open pour mold of them rather than a 2-part mold to keep the cost down. Shoot me a PM if you are interested in them. The ones pictured below were the originals before I used them to make the mold. Hosted on Fotki Hosted on Fotki Edited December 29, 2015 by krassandbernie

If I didn't already have a couple sets of those wheels set aside, I'd take you up on it. They look great on most builds, as you've shown here, but I'm looking for something just a little different. To the best of my knowledge, MPC didn't use the wheels from the original '67 Charger box art in many of their kits, but I'd still like to get a set. Let's see if this picture gives everyone a better idea of what I'm looking for. http://cdn3.volusion.com/qzhug.remqt/v/vspfiles/photos/MPC829-2.jpg?1446116269 I asked whether they were available in resin because, unfortunately, I really don't have a stockpile of parts to trade out, so I'll have to buy them.
