Agent G Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Thank you sir!I had nine extra bodies at roll call. Good solid detectives who've been around the block. Went the entire night with barely a whimper. Made some arrests but hey, no issues and everyone went home safe.Reminded me of the old days. I love it when a plan comes together. G

GHey G,That is great news, glad to hear it!! Winter made it's presence known here in the Motor City this morning. Nothing that anyone who has spent any amount of time in a cold weather city shouldn't be able to handle routinely, but when you add that to all the folks that just came into town for the holidays doing their usual New Year's celebrating, and driving around at a time of night they may only drive at that one night of the year, things can go bad in a hurry! So any dose of winter weather that waits until New Year's Eve is over is a beautiful thing!
Tom Geiger Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Hey G! Glad to see your New Years Eve was uneventful, and thankfully the same for everywhere else. I was watching the news and the tightened security due to the current world situation. They reported that anyone who got into Times Square had been physically frisked three times at checkpoints, and once in nobody was allowed out. One news interview said there were no credible threats but we needed to be diligent for lone wolf wannabees. Seems we had one of those in Rochester, NY of all places. Law enforcement got ahead of that situation before it could happen.
