I have a project idea on my mind and was wondering if a quality resin kit of the above is avail .

I've looked around on various sites this morning with no luck

I have not found any out there so i will be making my own. This will be a 1965 880 Custom wagon. The plan is to use the

roof, rear panel and tub from the MotorCity suburban kit. Dash and everything else from a beat up promo i got a while back.

Tommy - That's a really interesting subject....my Dad bought new Dodge wagons every seven years and the 1965 Custom 880 wagon he ordered, was I think, his most favorite car of all the ones he owned.  It looked just like your pictures, except it was painted the light metallic blue with the light/dmedium blue vinyl interior.

The 1965 Custom 880  It was a really striking car when first introduced; it was unique in that it had chrome trim around the wood instead of the "faux light colored framing wood" look of the Ford Country Squire and Mercury Colony Park.  Within a couple of years, the Custom 880 wagon approach to "woodie wagons" was widely copied in the industry.

Good luck with your project and be sure to post your work in progress photos in the "on the bench" section at the top of the "Model Cars" category at this site.    Thanks...TIM

Good Luck on that one Tommy. If I had one, that would be one I would like to do. If I am not mistaken, Keith Sorci did a '66 Polara wagon a few years back. Paul Hettick sold one on Ebay, and got a nice sum for it.

Hey! Has anyone finished a ‘65 Dodge Polara/Monaco Station Wagon conversion from the ‘65 2 door hardtop kit from MPC? I have one on the bench currently…

I have owned a few 65-68 Mopar C-body wagons over the years. Although Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler C-bodies all had unique wheelbases ALL 65-68 C-body wagons were built on the Dodge wheelbase (121").  One less thing to worry about :)
