Its gonna be Testors Laquer GTS Blue Pearl, I am gonna try to do the overspray that Bill has talked about before, I'm prettys sure I should paint the chassis first before doing this though. I will be using the stock engine, it also comes with a double blown Hemi, I will build them both cause I intend on using the hemi in another build soon. Edited March 20, 2009 by Clay

Clay Posted March 27, 2008 Author Posted March 27, 2008 Well here you go Raul, you and your wife look at this. The top will hopefully be HOK snow white pearl. I wonder if this laquer clearcoat with mess up HOK? I will have to try it on a piece of plastic.......

Never mind, turns out all it is, is glitter in a spray can. So I painted the whole thing blue I hope to get some BMF done before I take off for the weekend
Clay Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Well since I missed the whole left side of the top and its drying now, all I got to do is play with this: You older guys might remember this toy. Anyway, I can't decide the interior style I want. We got the buckets with the floor console and shifter in the front and the buckets in the back. or Bench in the front with column shift, and a bench in the back. or A single bucket, with nothing else (drag interior) reminder not doing the drag car.
Clay Posted March 28, 2008 Author Posted March 28, 2008 Well I got a little BMF done on it, I still got the left and back windows and the rear fins on the car to do, and I am gonna try to do the emblems. I did find an engine that I would like to use with it instead of the stock. If anyone could tell me what engine that is it would be greatly appreciated.

I had to remove ht BMF for whatever reason (don't really remember). I need to wipe it of to get the residue off of it. So hopefully I will be getting back to it soon.

You should be able to use Windex or an ammonia based cleaner on a cloth or paper towel to remove the adhesive from the BMF. Don't use Isopropyl Alchol (IPA)!! It will remove your paint... Later,

george 53 Posted January 4, 2009 Posted January 4, 2009 Yeah Bro, It's a drag to hear about the foil job. Jeeze, it takes it long enough to do, then you see somthin that HAS to be fixed! awww krap! Been there, dun that. The build looks pretty good so far though.
