Heres another little rod thats lurkin in my to be built stash. This one is a simple build aside from the Z'd rear and channeled body. Gonna run the kit 4 banger using the hop up parts.

Nice start on your little roadster pickup, Rick!!

Here's a pic of the last one of those kits that I built:

I'll be interested in seeing how yours turns out. That's one of my favorite early Revell kits of a 20s truck!!

Raul I like how yours is I was going to use that cab but screwed it up on the chop. Also seeing your bed has me set on possibly shortening mine. I been thinkin on it but was unsure how it would look if I did

I believe some of you have seen what I did with the hard top cab left over from my wifes build, the 29 hoochy mobile. My wife is doing here full fendered convertable metalic green, white trim and chrome with a flat head v-8. Hers is looking real nice! thinking I may do my 1/16 scale 31 the same color sceme! I will have to take pictures of that in a couple days after she is done painting the body with a quick mock up before the little things get finished. liking the way you are thinking of taking yours! Tom Thats how I'd imagine the simplest rods looked Kid too off his fenders and hopped up the motor a bit. Yours came out lookin nice. Looks like it rolled straight out the old days

Smart resins I'm gonna head over and look at yours next I can't remember if I seen it or not

Rick,

If you want to see more pics of it, they're posted out on my Fotki site: www.fotki.com/raul56perez/

For this one I raised the bed to make room for the frame.

I actually like the roadster body more than the full cab, but I built this one to sell and I had already built/sold several of the roadster pickups. For a quick "build to sell", I put way too much time into it by shortening the bed...
