Trailer Trash Kustomz Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Great guy with very nice parts. He has a lot going on right now to say the least.
Exotics_Builder Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Just got a response from him yesterday within a couple of hours on the AccuAir and if there will be a reissue. It is a great setup and I am looking to get at least one more for the Meng Ford F350. His stuff is great and I understand an expansion is underway. Ping him again.
jrherald420 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 He announced a week ago that he was closing the business. It was all posted on his facebook page.
Jonathan Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 He has/had some nice stuff. I hope everything is okay.
dragstk Posted January 26, 2016 Author Posted January 26, 2016 Thanks for the feedback guys. I didn't see, on FB, where he was closing. I did message him through FB. We'll see what happens. Thanks again, everyone
chadrob30 Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 From his page: Announcement:It is with mixed emotions that detailjunkess.com will be closing as a store this week. It has been a successful venture & one I am departing because it was growing into something more than I can simply handle at the moment. I decided it was best to bow out now, before I lose control & end up frustrating you guys with slow shipping & sloppily shipped orders. As much as I love to offer these unique pieces, I need to focus on a grander scheme for at least this year. I am a model builder first & boutique owner second. This year I will not have time to do both. The brand will carry on & I hope to drop a few cool pieces this year & still hook my people up. It'll have to be more in the style of a 'Pop-up Shop" though. Once I am completely caught up on my current orders, I do intend to close out my inventory and offer some goods on this page & "Layitlow Model Car Auctions" group pages as well. Keep an eye out for that. In the meantime, I will continue to be a part of the community and focus on building in my spare time. If anyone is interested in carrying my products, I am open to selling the rights to some & wholesaling to others.Thank you for all of your support & I'll see you around. I'm definitely not going anywhere.
louie Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 I am sorry to see you go ( hopefully not for long ) but I must say that I think that posting this announcement is one of the most professional things that I have ever seen in the aftermarket business. Letting people know what you are up against and being honest about what is going on with your business is to be commended. You my friend are a true and good person. I hope everything works out for you and thank you for your contribution to this Hobby of ours. Thank you. Jeff
chunkypeanutbutter Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 I have to keep on top of this, then - really digging those 3D-printed spray cans.
