ismaelg Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Hello, Ford announced that it will challenge the 2 seater market (Miata, Solstice, S2000) with a retro design based on the 1965 Galaxie 500 convertible. Since it will be a shorter version it will be called the Galaxie 50 The design is locked but they forgot a small detail. They are now looking for a suitable engine that fits. Options may include a Briggs and Stratton OHV engine. Aerodynamics were not really considered in the project. Whatever it is, it is. Expect the car to be late, underpowered and overweight. Thanks,
Zoom Zoom Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Well, I wish they'd get it out quickly, I can't wait to sell my Miata to get that
Harry P. Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 That looks like the German Amphicar from the 60s!!!
James Flowers Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Now that is truely different. Looks great how about more pictures. Put a hydrostatic trans with the Brigg's engine.
