madhorseman Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Joan Jett's version Harry.. Carl, I wasn't really crazy about Joan Jet's music, but I did dig her "Tough Girl" style! She could get tough with me, and I wouldn't mind.
madhorseman Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 Oh Yeah! It's this version of Joan's cover.

Crazy Ed Posted February 27, 2016 Posted February 27, 2016 I believe what Tommy James used on "Crimson and Clover" was actually: TREMOLOYep.

Roy, i always like her song "Do you wanna Touch" I did like that she was a rock chick. They ran " I love Rock and Roll " in the ground..Some girls played that on the bus everyday when i was in high school repeatedly and I drove as often as i could anyway...
Harry P. Posted March 1, 2016 Author Posted March 1, 2016 George... I'm a huge TJ fan, so I like all of the ones you posted! Sweet Cherry Wine is probably my second favorite, after Crimson and Clover. I also like this one. Tommy James wrote it but gave it to a group called "Alive and Kicjing," who recorded it and had a huge hit with it. I bet TJ was sorry he didn't record it as a Shondells song! Here is TJ and the band doing it live, in 2010, many years after Alive and Kicking had the hit version...
