Boomstick Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 Right now I am undertaking my biggest model build in my 30 years of experience. I am building a scale replica of the movie Optimus Prime and his trailer. The biggest issue I for see with this build is the flame paint job. While I've tried to search for flame masking, I'm not having much luck finding anything current. The search of this board has yielded some results but from years ago. So as the title states what is the current status of flame masking? I hate to ask as usually I'm fairly good at finding things on my own, but I've come to a dead end. Thank you in advance.
JollySipper Posted March 5, 2016 Posted March 5, 2016 There is a company called "Lazy Modeler" that does flame masks...........
unclescott58 Posted March 7, 2016 Posted March 7, 2016 What's the word on using flame paint masks? Do they work? And how tough or easy are they to work with?
