Mopar madness continues...

Painted with Root Beer coloured nail polish.

It'll have a black interior and chrome Magnum 500 rims instead of the kit-supplied rally wheels.

I use lacquer thinner to cut the nail polish.

It sprayed out really well... thinking I'll be using nail polish a lot more as the colour variety seems endless. I didn't use my airbrush - i find it difficult to keep everything wet with an airbrush - i used a mini HVLP paint gun with a .8 tip.

The colour is great Mike.

I've heard others talk about using nail polish, maybe now is the time to try.

Now, what excuse can I use to explain why I am shopping for nail polish.

Coming together nicely...

Had a few problems getting the chassis to align with the body but it's all squared away now. Not really happy with how far forward the front wheels are but it is what it is and what it is is glued together with CA glue, so it stays the way it is. ;)

Rob, if you have an air brush it is super super easy. Just thin it with Acetone or Lacquer Thinner, I thin it 50/50 sometimes 40/60,  Acetone/nail polish. Look for it on sale at Walmart and Dollar Tree usually has a great selection. I tell the cashier exactly what I use it for, custom painting.

Last time I got some, I told the cashier it was for my dog...
