  1. Looks great, l like the cinnamon brown and gold. Did this kit include the body side mirrors? Anyway, nice build, l cant wait to build this one as well.
  2. Very nice, love the orange and black...Really nice clean build, and a great subject, Well done.
  3. Absolutely beautiful, love the red lines and the paint looks amazing. The interior is also very sweet. Nice mods on the head lamps, thats much better. Great model all round.
  4. Wow, Fantastic Vette, with a great color....nice build.
  5. Thanks for your encouraging words Wayne, I'm glad you like it, and best of luck with your build. If I understand what you're asking correctly... I build and paint the engine compartment first, so it can be painted at the same time as the body. Then install the engine along with the chassis. Thanks again.
  6. Now "This" is awesome. Talk about a subject you rarely see on model forums.... It's beautiful, and nicely built, great work on this one.
  7. That's very cool, l like the satin black look, and the low stance gives it great attitude. Well done!
  8. Very nice creation. The color is wicked....
  9. That's a beautiful build, super clean all around. The color suits it well, and the paint job looks outstanding! Nicely done...
  10. Actually, l meant the stripes that run along the bottom of the fender, door, and quarter panels!
  11. Very nice, love the color....l'll bet it feels good to be settled into your new home! Great build once again.
  12. Beautiful little model Paul. The colors are very nice, and it looks super clean all around. Question for you....did you leave the stripes along the bottom off intentionally? Looks great either way, well done.
  13. Is this ever an awesome idea! Great stuff, l love the over sized wheels and red lines you put on them. The Cougar is my favorite....looks like a very well assembled model....congrats on all, and the idea!
  14. Wow, it looks nicely detailed to me. It's a very clean build, and certainly a rare kit to see all dolled up like this one. Nice job.....I'm inspired to build one now, thanks!
  15. Very nice, the red is beautiful. Great build in all aspects. I like the continental kit....lt's amazing how versatile 55's are...they can can be such an aggresive and cool looking muscle car, yet with the continental kit and lowering it into the weeds, they can look so elegant and classy as you have portrayed nicely here. Well done!
  16. Yes l like using tweezers and Q-tips, and kleenex to gently blot up the water.
  17. Thanks Bob, the Hemi comes in the older AMT '71 Charger Street Machine kit...
  18. Hi Jerry, and thanks for the kind words...I'm glad you are inspired, as l believe that's what modelling is all about. To answer your questions, the decals went very smoothly, and mine was an old original release, and you know what old decals do sometimes, but these were ok. If you have a recent kit, the decals should be in great shape. The color on the engine if l recall correctly was Model Master Chevy engine orange l believe....l finished this one four years ago. I hope this info helps you out my friend, best of luck with your GSX, I will becwatching for the pictures.
  19. Hey fellas, here's an ole' Goat for you. l cut the roof off, and did my best at making a convertible boot out of some of the wifes "Press n Seal". It's painted in a close rendition to Pontiac's Carosel Red, with a bit of wiring under the hood. I only posted two pics because l was only allowed to post a maximum of 3.73mb of data, and each of my pictures on my i-pad is 1.4-1.7mb...If anyone has any suggestions, they are welcome.
  20. This is cool, you certainly had your creativity flowing on this one. Nice custom build, the color is neat to. Very nice!

    VW 411

Thats really nicely done, suler clean all around... Great model.
  22. Now that's a sweet looking Mothers Day ride...l'm sure she will be tickled with your creation, after all...Who wouldn't love a convertible classic like this. Your model is just so appealing in its simplicity, its perfect... The Tamiya candy color is really nice, and suits this model very well. I like the way Tamiya paints spray when reduced with the laquer thinner as well. The interior is spot on to, it looks almost real. I never was a fan of this kit, but you certainly changed my mind with this build. Nicely done!!!
  23. Thanks guys, glad you like it. This poor model has been sitting in one of my cabinets getting dusty since 2007, so it's nice to hear all the fresh comments of recent on this almost ten year old build. Keep on building!
  24. Looks great, really nice engine compartment, nice color, wheels.... The whole thing! Well done. I can't wait to build this kit.
  25. Holy smokes, tons of intricate details in this one... Looks life likecin the engine compartment...well done!
