  1. Most excellent, the group photos are awesome. It's cool to see many versions of the same car, l love it. I especially like the tan and white hard top, but they're all beautiful. Well done!
  2. I know that Camaro's are done to death, but l wanted one for my collection, and since we are finally getting some spring type weather here in the North West, l thought l would take a few outdoor pics. I bought this Yenko kit used, and of course it was missing the decals, so l ordered in some Keith Marks decals in black and white. It's painted in MM black metallic, and clear coated. Actually, in hind sight, lm not too fussy about the color....but it is what it is....l hope you like it.

    68 Dart GTS

Most excellent sir, great color and l like the vinyl top. Beautiful model. I gotta build me one of these....
  4. Wouldn't this be intimidating, when it pulled up beside you... She looks mean. Cool lightning rods, and the tubs. Keep it up!
  5. Amazing workmanship here, it looks fantastic. You have just the right amount of sheen on your paint job to give the model that true race car look. Your collection is excellent as well so far. Awesome!!!
  6. Thank you for all the compliments and suggestions guys, l always sppreciate them, and learn from everyone who so kindly share their experience here with others. Great stuff!
  7. Very nice indeed, love the deep transparent blue. Excellent build all round...
  8. Oh ya....Love it...I'm not usually a low rider fan, but this one I like... Well done, and super cool Paint job.
  9. I don't like the wheels either....not at all, but they were in the kit.
  10. I built this one quite a while ago, I think around 2007. I made a bunch of modifications to it, and tell you the truth, I can't remember them all, but I will list what I remember...I raised the ride height of the back end, filled in the Charger indentations on the front of the doors, made the vinyl roof...I know the moldings are not correct at the back of the roof, made the hide away lights, tinted the wind shield.... It's a painted in a 68 Dodge color that was called Sea foam I believe. Hope you like it...
  11. Very nice build. Yes the boys are right, you don't see many of these old classics on model forums these days, and your's is a beauty indeed. The engine looks very authentic, and that steering shaft pops right out at ya... The wood grain on the dash looks brilliant to. They sure were a big, long car weren't they. I built the '31 Rolls Royce Phaeton a few years ago, and l found it a particularity challenging build. It was just so different compared to a full bodied car. How about you, did you find this model challenged your thought process a little bit? Excellent build once again.
  12. Oh that is so cool! Awesome representation of the old gangster era.. Very nicely built and polished up. Looks like it belongs in the movie (The Untouchables). Lol

    Cobra Wagon

Now this is different...nicely done! Very creative idea, congrats!
  15. Wow, very impressive work.....That engine looks so real. Sweet model and garage. Nicely done!
  16. Thank you for the encouraging comments guys, l'm glad you enjoyed the restoration. I'm pleased with it.
  17. Thank you John, thats great information....
  18. Hi Samiches, l believe the grille's could be either body color or argent depending on what options the buyer wanted at the time. Both are correct as far as l know. As far as the bill boards on the quarters for the hemi cars, that's a great question, and l dont know the answer to that one. I know any car could be ordered with a stripe delete package back in the day, so l don't see why a hemi cuda could not be also.....but l'm not 100% sure. Now l'm curious!
  19. Thanks Joe, if l recall correctly, l used Alclad polished aluminum first, followed by a light dusting of Alclad gold. Thanks for the nice comments everyone....
  20. Thanks Jeremiah, thats really impressive. Well done!

    1967 charger

Very cool, the color really suits it. Nice build.
  22. First time with BMF, very nice. You're right about it being a bear to work with sometimes, but with practice it will come. It is my least favorite part of any build. One thing l find that makes it a lot less painful is to scribe all of the moldings, drip rails etc, really well. That way, after its painted, there is still a nice definate line to keep your knife on track. Also use a super sharpe blade.... Great looking Fast Back once again.
  23. Very nice, l like the simple and clean look you portray with this model. Beautiful paint, cool wheels, and nice engine detail....thats all it takes to make a winner! Well done.
  24. Nice build, l always love the Acapulco blue, and it looks killer on this beautiful model. I can't wait to get after this kit myself....thanks for the inspiration.
