Anyone have dealing with these folks ? I ordered some tires 3 or 4 weeks ago and so far have not received them. I know they had to make them so I did not expect them real quick but I have sent a couple of emails just to get a heads up on how my order is coming and I have not received a response as of yet. Paid with Paypal and payment was collected. Just wondering if there is a problem.

My dealings with Al go back at least 4 years ago, but he did deliver the product. It took him a couple of months, partly because I had a large order and also because his job (at the time at least) took him out of town and that made it difficult to cast the tires.

He has some really nice stuff, but it does take a while to get it.

Not sure what you are after but two other great sources, Scenes Unlimited and Fireball Modelworks offer tires and wheels along with fast service and incredible product.

I ordered 2 sets of the Richard Caroll steamroller tires for a couple of a couple of throwback builds I was planning to do. I was not aware of a problem with him. He answered my first question before I ordered very quickly. I hope he is not a Reliable Resin type guy. I will wait. Not in a real hurry just wondered how he was doing. Only 15 bucks so maybe a live and learn life lesson. : )
