Hello, i'm new here, and i'm a model builder but mostly entertainment cars. I'm not as much higher detailed like everyone I'm mostly old skool.

Just received my latest and first time resin model - 1957 Ferrari TDF 1/24 scale. I did wash the body in warm water with soap.

Don't know much of resin and I'd never done one before.

Didn't repeat with the parts just yet. My project is the make the Ferrari that David Tomlinson drove in The Love Bug.

My question - I'm looking for the right resin model expert that can help make this Ferrari look screen accurate, thank you.

You MUST Soak the Resin Parts in Whestlie's Whitewall Tire Cleaner prior to washing with soap and water . I've found about 8 hrs or Overnight will do the job . Don't forget Primer to give a surface for the Finish to stick to .

Use a SEARCH Engine for the details for the build you want to make . Does this answer your question ?   Thanx ..

You're going to need 5 min epoxy or superglue to bond the parts together. I strongly advise test fitting each part before final gluing. Resin is more brittle than plastic, and you'll want to make sure the parts fit well before any final assembly.

You'd hate to have to disconnect resin parts once they're glued together!

Most of all-----TAKE YOUR TIME! I'm not a resin expert, but I can tell you that particular kit goes for no small change. You'll want to exercise much patience when getting this one together. It'll be well worth it!
