Metalhead93 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 I built one of these in high school and lets just say I wasn't as patient or skilled back then as I am now! I saw this one at the hobby store and decided I should give it another try. To my surprise, it looks like the kit was updated with a few better-tooled parts and more decals, mostly sponsors. I'm planning on making this one clean, not super flashy; gloss white with a few sponsor decals and gloss black wheels. Hopefully this one comes out better than the last one! A few pics of the engine, chassis and interior. I glued the front and rear bumpers onto the body and gave it a coat of primer. A little sanding, a couple more coats and it'll be ready for color.
Mattsteel85 Posted March 31, 2016 Posted March 31, 2016 Nice job so far! Just picked up a 00 civic si kit today so I'll b building a four banger real soon
Perspect Scale Modelworks Posted April 1, 2016 Posted April 1, 2016 Looking good. Maybe take a little sandpaper to those treads.
o-man Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Gloss white, or something closer to Championship white? Good looking engine

iamsuperdan Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I'm in the same boat. I'e picked up a few kits that I build many, many years ago. Want to build them again, now that I know what i'm doing. Acura is looking good!
